In taking these photos I started off by using a camera lens to focus the picture and then removed it for the actual photo. This also shows what lens I use, in the first photos is the lens I used later on, which is a general purpous lens with a wide field of view. The lens in the layer photos is the one I used earlier on and is my grandfather's macro lens that he used for taking photos of artifacts (e.g. Counting threads in cloth) , as he was an anthrapologist. This has an incredibly short depth of field but gives that nice toy effect, it is harder to use as it doesn't have amt digital assistance like auto settings or focus, but I am happy with the photos.
